If your vote was for sale... how much would you sell it for?

  1. The right to vote is a sacred thing for most Americans. However, there are some people in our country that would sell their right to vote, as shown in the above photos. You would think that citizens of our country would uphold their right to vote, because of what our country went through to obtain our government built on the ideals of democracy.
I think the reason people would sell their right to vote is because they believe that one person’s vote does not mean as much as it used to. There is a lot corruption in the United States government. Also, most of the people we asked were under the age of 18 and have never been able to cast their vote. They also do not have to pay taxes or anything like that. The government does not really affect them at this point in their lives.
You'd think that people would want to uphold their right to vote at all costs, considering how difficult it was for Americans to obtain their own government on the ideals of democracy. However, because of situations occurring in our government nowadays, American people are losing faith.

  2. The signs you guys used for the prices are pretty colors. I also like how you wrote a couple paragraphs in addition to the pictures. In the writing, you guys made a really good point about how Americans are losing faith.

    Good Job!
